Experiencing God

Being off of facebook has been really good for me. It has brought a new perspective for me in that I am able to hear God's voice so much more clearly without the clutter in my life. Facebook added a lot of clutter in my life. It wasn't one of those things where I was on facebook all the time but a little bit here and there added up and it seemed to take more time than necessary. It also brought some thoughts and feelings that are not honoring to God. He does not desire for me to have the hurt and negative thoughts that come in pairs so much of the time. I have been feeling lighter and "fresher" since being free of that clutter being in my way throughout my day.

This week I read a blog that has been so refreshing for me and I've been processing it for days. The entry talked about wearing Spirit Goggles as we go through our day.
I have been challenged that looking for God at work really shouldn’t be that hard. Do we make it hard? It struck me that our Lord is working around us, every minute, yet we are probably just too distracted to see it. We often say “God shows up” or that something is a “God moment,” yet His word says He is working all the time, He is present all the time, and I wonder if we are the ones failing to realize that in all moments, He works, and that he doesn’t just show up when we “see” it. He’s already been doing the work, perhaps unseen by the distractions around us.

I love this! In keeping the Spirit Goggles on I am looking for what God is doing in me and around me. There is so much that He is doing that I shouldn't even consider having a thought of missing any of it. Although in my humanness I will miss a lot of what He is doing. I don't like this thought but it's reality. God is so good is at work in doing good all the time. Why would we want to take the Spirit Goggles off and miss what our God is doing?

Something that God has also been speaking to me about is Spirit Earphones. What is he saying to me ... and to others? Oh to be in communication with the Creator of the Universe! What a priviledge!! So many times we don't really want to hear what He has to say or want to see what He is doing. There is so much that we miss out on when we don't listen to his heart. He has many good things to say to us.

When we wear our Spirit Goggles and Earphones there is so much more that we can experience. We get to experience God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus!!! I'm so excited about this!! To experience HIM is an honor and priviledge. When we interact with Him in this way we get to experience him loving on us. Is there a greater, more passionate love than the love of God? NO!! And one of his greatest desires is for us to experience HIS love!! My heart leaps just thinking about this. Love it!!!!! :)
