On Sunday John Michael and his wheelchair basketball team, the River City Rollers, played four 15 minute games against 4 different teams. The first game was against WNDU, a local TV station. Of course, since it's a TV station, there was a camera there doing interviews. So many people were so impressed with John Michael's ability that at one point they put a microphone on him while he was playing. He, of course, wasn't as animated and vocal with the microphone on. :) He was interviewed by the camera man after the game. It was quite an event for all of us!
Tricia Sloma is one of the morning news anchors for WNDU. She called the game and was so great. She added so much to the event with her humor and interaction with the players. Fun personality!

One of the many shots he made during the games. He had a total of 28 points for the day. This came to about 1/2 of the teams points! He was so pumped the entire 2 1/2 hours that he was playing. He loved every minute of it!
