Last night was Ben's last soccer practice. During the last 20 minutes of practice the parents scrimmaged against the kids. We had so much fun! I have to tell you that it's a good thing that I've been doing some running as part of my workout routine in the morning. Those kids wore us out! :) Oh, and they beat us 2-1. :) That's me in the fuscia shirt and Ben in the white. So fun!!!
Rebekah turned 7 on Wednesday! Bekah and some of her classmates made pizza, painted nails, and played together. So fun!
Rebekah is now a Kindergarten graduate! She's so proud of herself. :) Here she is with her teacher, Ms. Tuesley. Bekah did awesome this year! She is reading fluently which is great for going into 1st grade next year.
Yesterday was the last day of school. Woohoo!!! I love having my kids home. Today we went to see KungFu Panda. Funny movie. We took 2 of our neighbor girls with us, which was fun for the kids.
Clint and Michael are in northern Michigan hiking for a few days. They left yesterday after school and are coming home tomorrow late afternoon. This is Michael's 14th birthday present. It sounds like they're having a good time but are pushing it by hiking 20+ miles today. Clint said he has a huge blister on his toe... not a good thing. It'll be an interesting time of storytelling when they get back.
